About WWOC
West Coast World Outreach Church is a spirit filled, inter-denominational, multicultural ministry with more than 600 members in attendance weekly and growing.
Founders, Bishop Mark and Jordana Filkey originally began holding periodic meetings in 1986 in a small hall in the beautiful city of Stockton under the name Faith Outreach Center. It is interesting to note that less than nine people were in attendance in the first service including their children.
As more families began to attend regularly, it soon became evident that the pastors were being led by God to do more than hold periodic meetings. They were to pioneer a family church that would emphasize biblical teaching, community service, and world missions outreach. As a result, families began to come and inquire concerning church membership.
After much prayer and careful deliberation, the decision was made to call the church to order. In 1993 West Coast World Outreach Church was officially born.
